Jaroslav Jansa
[edit]The link redirects to Jaroslav JANDA, a Czech alpine skier. Is that right? Editrite! (talk) 21:23, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
- No. Per images at this article, Jansa was born in 1944. Janda was born in 1942. I removed the link. Wyliepedia @ 22:49, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
(Sur)name use
[edit]Please do not refer to her husband Donald as "Donald Trump" throughout the article. Refer to MOS:SAMESURNAME, which states "To distinguish between people with the same surname in the same article or page, use given names or complete names to refer to each of the people upon first mention. For subsequent uses, refer to them by their given names for clarity and brevity. When referring to the person who is the subject of the article, use just the surname unless the reference is part of a list of family members or if use of the surname alone will be confusing." I've removed 14 mentions of Donald's surname throughout this article. We know who Donald Trump is; we don't need his entire name every time and should only be using his given name. Thank you! --Kbabej (talk) 21:33, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
- so nice to meet you 41.90.241.30 (talk) 07:45, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
Cause of death
[edit]The article previously said she died from cardiac arrest, yet the source for that claim does not state the cause. Cause of death has not yet been determined and will be done so by the New York City Medical Examiner's Office. I revised that passage accordingly. Siberian Husky (talk) 21:47, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
Merge with Raising Trump
[edit]I can't believe the article for her book Raising Trump has existed for nearly five years with just one link or article. Merge or just delete it. conman33 (. . .talk) 01:04, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- I love it its among my interesting boks 41.90.241.30 (talk) 07:46, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. The book is independently notable. More sources exist such as https://www.publishersweekly.com/9781501177286. pburka (talk) 04:07, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
Typo
[edit]Reference to Ivanka's birth miss spells her name as "Ivana". Maybe her daughter's name is Ivana, then maybe "Ivanka" should be explained. Maybe: daughter Ivana Marie, known as Ivanka, 69.59.91.86 (talk) 01:20, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- They share the same first and middle name. "Ivanka" is the diminutive native name, as explained in her article. Wyliepedia @ 22:34, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
Religious background?
[edit]Is there any knowledge of this? Brother Nathanael (on YouTube) claims that Ivana was Jewish and therefore Ivanka didn't actually convert to marry Jared Kushner because she was already Jewish. Historian932 (talk) 17:30, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
Photo
[edit]It'd be more typical of a dead celebrity to use an earlier photo from when she was in the public eye. Ivana was probably most famous in the 1990s. 2600:1005:B084:CB96:AC76:CC6A:9058:21B4 (talk) 13:21, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
