This is a good example of a bad stub. All I know from this stub is that it was a Supreme Court case that hasn't been decided yet. I have no idea why it is important, or what it is even about without doing research into what "Section 1782 of Title 28 of the United States Code" says, and even then I don't know what exactly about that section the case is about because the stub doesn't tell me. And why should I bother doing research about it if I have no idea why it's important? If this is a notable case, then when someone wants to put the time into researching it, it will come back, but this stub is worthless. The author has made a mini-career out of creating uninformative stubs...there are a few others just like this that I am considering nominating as well, but this was the worst of them. - This is a great example of a bad stub. Agree with Postdlf. A Supreme Court case is likely to be notable (to US citizens) either way it is decided, but the current state of the article is uninformative to the point of frustration.
Delete. SWAdair | Talk 10:27, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC) - It is a terrible stub. I have some hesitation about deletion, though, as I think Intel/AMD has a bit of history to it, and the issues under discussion are important to the worldwide chip and software market. I'd like to say that it ought to go to Clean Up and the author of the substub receive an admonition/exhortation. Geogre 14:04, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I vote for expansion rather than deletion. Send it to cleanup. Spectatrix 15:16, 2004 Jul 10 (UTC)
- Keep. Send to Cleanup. --Palapala 17:10, 2004 Jul 10 (UTC)
- I've hopefully expanded it from a Bad Stub into something that merely needs cleanup.--Luc "Somethingorother" French 21:30, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Luc has done well. I've also tweaked formatting. Keep. Cleanup optional. - Fennec (はさばくのきつね) 22:55, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Good work, you two. Thank you. Changing my vote to Keep. SWAdair | Talk 23:07, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. Whether expanded or not, the whole point of a stub is that people will expand it once they find it and see that more is wanted. Jamesday 04:28, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
