Inaccurate info, no source cited (Harry and Meghan)
[edit]Is this content still in the article, somewhere?? It certainly should not be. (Removed from the lead but added elsewhere?)
Vancouver Island since 2019 has become a home of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex along with their son Archie.
The above is not accurate; they have stayed there, off and on, since late 2019, but have never announced that the Island would become ONE of their homes. (Frogmore will continue to be their official residence.) A home in Canada yes, but not specifically the Island where they have simply been renting a house.
Harry and Meghan vacationed on Vancouver Island over Christmas https://www.saanichnews.com/news/royal-deal-clears-way-for-harry-meghan-part-time-canada-move-experts/
While the couple intend to divide their time between the UK and Canada, it is expected that they will spend the majority of their time in Canada. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-51163865 This does not say Vancouver Island.
Frogmore Cottage will remain Harry and Meghan’s family home in the United Kingdom, suggesting the couple isn’t contemplating a full-time move to Canada. https://www.saanichnews.com/news/royal-deal-clears-way-for-harry-meghan-part-time-canada-move-experts/
If the couple decides to make the community their part-time home, https://vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/harry-and-meghan-s-royal-move-to-canada-signals-generational-change-experts-1.4767418 Note the "if"
If indeed Meghan and Harry are planning to have a British Columbian base, https://vancouversun.com/news/local-news/fit-for-a-king-five-b-c-homes-that-could-work-for-meghan-and-harry
So, for now, the Island (AND BC, in general) is an occasional, temporary place to stay. Not worthy of discussion in the article, at this time. Peter K Burian (talk) 14:09, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
