Meaning of Power?

[edit]

The article contains the phrase "immanent power", with each word linking to articles. In particular, the word "power" links to the article Power, which is actually a disambiguation page. I am in the process of finding articles that point to this disambiguation page, and trying to find an article that explains the kind of power that is meant in the referring article.

It is not clear to me which, if any, power-related article explains the word "power" as it is used in this article; clearly many of the power-related articles do not apply, such as Electric power.

Perhaps someone more familiar with this subject can identify which power-related artlce is the most appropriate target for this link.

I'm going with political power, though power (sociology) is also relevant (and those two pages might be viable merge candidates). -- Rbellin|Talk 00:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the photo of J-L Nancy, put on the head of the article, which is nothing else short of advertising for European Graduate School, which has for some time engaged itself in internal & external spamming. I'm sure we can find others photos for Nancy that what plainly appears as a perversion of Wikipedia, and in particular of using the Wiki biographic page of Jean-Luc Nancy for an advertisement for some private school in Switzerland. Paragraph beginning "Nancy's first book on the question of community..."

[edit]

When I read this sentence is reads thus:

Nancy's first book on the question of community , La Communauté déœuvrée ( The Inoperative Community , 1986), is perhaps her best-known work.

When I went to edit the paragraph and change "her" to "his" it read like this:

Nancy's first book on the question of community, La Communauté désœuvrée (The Inoperative Community, 1986), is perhaps his best-known work
