As an employee of United I would like to help keep this up to date. The countries served should be 67. BlakMyers (talk) 19:44, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

United now has the largest and most diversified international route network among U.S. airlines, offering non-stop service to 134 international destinations across 67 countries. United offers flights to more destinations across the Atlantic and Pacific than all U.S. carriers combined BlakMyers (talk) 16:16, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Change fleet count in side banner from 972 to 969 in order to match updated fleet count from fleet site that reflects recent A320 retirements. FlySlow440 (talk) 23:14, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

United flies to 68 countries now. Not 48. More than all US carriers combined. More widebodies than any other US carrier. BlakMyers (talk) 15:52, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It would be better to have information on this from a secondary source and not a corporate press release, if possible. PianoDan (talk) 18:37, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Fool.com source works. Google isn't a reputable source; SimpleFlying and Business Traveler simply don't support your claim. I'll look for other sources as well. -- FeldBum (talk) 16:49, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
FYI @BlakMyers, the source said 67, not 68, so I updated to 67. -- FeldBum (talk) 16:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Boeing 757-200 does not have Polaris seats

[edit]

The article suggests that United's Boeing 757-200 has Polaris seats, but it does not. I think it's important to indicate which planes have the hard product (the seats) and which do not. Many people refer to this as "Fauxlaris." EEOchsner (talk) 12:35, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Where United Airlines started

[edit]

Vern Gorst from Coos Bay Oregon started United Airlines. Your information isn’t correct. We do have recognition for Vern Gorst in Coos Bay. United Airlines flys here on a limited basis. This is a correct good story. He was a great entrepreneur. Bunny Sweet 12.75.216.41 (talk) 17:16, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
